We've moved from a garden with a natural stream, very large pond (100+ frogs in season and ducks on the central island raising annual broods), around 75 metres long to a village garden a fraction of the size! We soon realised that we missed water - it's movement and sound but were resigned to the status quo because of the overwhelming advantages of our new home! There didn't seem to be room anywhere for a pond - even a tiny one! Then for Her Ladyships 65th, I (half jokingly) suggested a 'water feature' - she did her research and chose this! I kept my thoughts to myself ... it couldn't be more different from what we had left behind, but ... It provides the sound of cascading water - it doesn't look like a 'wannabe' big house fountain/waterfall ... it fits into the vibe of the village garden we now have and we have the glitter of light through moving water. The quality is excellent.
