Pool factory Everything was as
Pool factory
Everything was as promised and all the parts were included. The sales representative was patient, helpful and informative as I didn’t have any experience ordering everything needed for a complete pool package.
In hindsight, several items I purchased were unnecessary. They included a gorilla hair floor, foam walls, foam glue, and foam corners for the inside floor. My installer would only use the floor and corners, he refused to use the rest. He advised me not to use the floor but I insisted and now regret not listening to him because it shows every footprint and flaw. He assures me that this will improve with use.
The two solar panels I purchased are plastic and appear as cheap expected, we’ll see how they last. As they say “you get what you pay for.” I’m very pleased with the two-speed pump/cartridge filter, it’s quiet and powerful. The included hoses are cheap plastic so I expect they’ll only last a few years.
Overall I’m very pleased with the pool factory.com. They had a much better selection of pools and I saved over $3000 compared to local pool companies. I used the savings to buy several extras and upgraded the liner. The extras include a cleaning robot 🤖, frog chlorine system, solar blanket with a deck mounted roller system, and a deck mounted ladder 🪜.
I learned later of my town’s building code requirement for water and pool bonding. That required a $80 plumbing part (the pool factory didn’t mention this) that’s sold separately by them and a trip to the Depot for 100+ feet of copper wire and bolts. Live and learn.
Lastly, I had the pool buried 24” down (which may void the warranty) and will build a deck up to it. I plan on removing and replacing the top coping with poly lumber all with the intent on creating a built in look. I can’t wait for the water to warm up so I can swim. I would definitely shop here again.
