I think these people love growing, and the people who do, and that is a big factor in their success.
I like this place. I finally got a Phillips 315 watt ceramic halide with 3200K, and will see just how that will work in my 3 x 3. With the 315 watt, I realize I do not have to run air through the hood now, but I have pulled the glass shield, and now just have filtered air being pumped into the tent, and leaving the tent through a filter. This way now, the tent puffs out some instead of being sucked in. This should also raise the air pressure on the leaves and buds, giving the plants both the advantage of a high mountain altitude plant, getting more light, and of a low altitude plant, getting more air. I pulled all hose off the hood now also, so the hood is just floating; new to me. Once the crop gets big enough, I will supplement the CMH with some LED, not that I need it, but only to encourage some extra budding.....I need to grow my own now so I can generate ice green hash that my medical condition demands now. It is not because I am bad, or want to do bad things. I know I should not abuse what I have, or be excessive in it's consumption, and like anything of course, strive for moderation, which is always the wiser way to consume anything.
