I messed up and added water too fast and soil kinda compacted with debris. Totally rookie mistake but after cleaning and vacuuming it out, the plants are thriving right away. Surprisingly higher quality than I expected from a full-plastic tank. Light, durable, and really easy to set up. The water filter has a pivotable spout for easy water change, and a filter is included. Great water flow, as long as it doesn't clog with debris, which the two-section suction tube does a fairly good job of. Said tube is two sections with easy-snap-off for removal, and pops right back on. Sturdy enough that fish can't knock it about. Lights are bright, and mounted on the lid, so I've blinded myself often, and if you have any floating plants in it, I recommend binding them with a string to keep them from drifting into the dark underneath the pump. Fairly quiet tank with good flow.
