Great location for those working in the financial district. That being said, don't expect much more than a small college dorm experience. Also very difficult to have guests.

I stayed here during a professional development opportunity. The location was convenient and the staff was friendly, which I really appreciated. The rooms were spartan, but as this is a dorm, I wouldn't expect it to be posh like an expensive hotel. It was nice that there were lots of hangout areas and a cafeteria; apparently there are workout facilities also, which would have been great if I was so inclined. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here!

Ehs is a great place for young students in NYC. Their locations are safe, offer bigger rooms than most in NYC, and even have events and prizes so you can make friends and get to know the city :)

there is a friendly staff and lots of great excursions throughout the year to truly get a taste of New York. Rooms might be a little cramped, but a great price. And the gym membership is quite excellent.
