Some day

Bought the Grotrax, and then was convinced by my neighbor to go with mulch. Easier and in stupid California, where water is almost as costly as gasoline, I can't afford to water it every other day. So we went the no water route instead. Bummed because I wanted to see how it worked. I will save it and maybe put a patch in my back yard if this stupid liberal Governor ever gets out of office and California ever becomes sane again.

Great for partial shade but..

If you have 75% or more sun good luck! Got 4 rolls, used 2 rolls at first. Followed directions to a T. Grotrax worked great in the partial sun, did not work at all in 80% sun

Weak

I followed all instructions and videos on installation even picked the calmest day you can ask for. With the slightest gust would pick the product up so I staked it down, re-wet it and moved on 5 minutes later got another breeze and ripped the fabric. At this point with it wet, the grotrax would fall apart trying to put it back where I needed it. I did leave it in a pile and the seeds started sprouting faster than regular seed. So great idea but Just to WEAK and fragile. I contacted customer support for a refund but still haven't recieved anything back.
