love my water distiller...my tap water smells like bleach...use my distiller almost every day...I just rinse it out with tap water and pour a little white distilled vinegar in bottom...let stand awhile or go ahead and clean it with scouring pad with vinegar still in bottom..using a soft scouring pad...no need for costly cleaners...wear gloves..rinse inside out and your pad...use only for cleaning distiller..wipe inside of top of distiller..(metal) with a little vinegar...rewipe with a little water and your are good to go. PS...Be carefull when storing distiller as stainless metal is very easy to put dents in.
