I’m very grateful for the people who took the time to explain how they use a timer to avoid having the water boil off and damaging the inside. Mine rusted after about 2 years of daily use and eventually got a hole in the bottom so I just replaced the tank and bought a timer so I’m going to be able to avoid that and have my distiller last a lot longer.
