The customer service at Nutriteam.com is exceptional; they are responsive and quick to help. I purchased the Megahome Countertop Distiller. After only 1 year and a few months it stopped working. Turns out the switch failed. So, I am to think the switch is a poorly made Foreign (China?) made part. This happens with so many products today that it is quite frustrating. ANyway, I had to order and pay for a new switch ($23.50) with no instructions. The folks at Nutriteam were quick to email them to me. I have yet to sit down and dismantle the distiller to see if I can install the new switch. (I had already paid a repairman $40 to open and clean the distiller because of the dust that accumulated in the motor and on the fan which I though was the problem. The distiller did work for a few days afterward then stopped.) So, the whole idea of the distiller for me was to cut back on the cost of purchasing distilled water for my humidifiers and drinking water; if this keeps up, it will not be cost effective. I read a review from someone whose switch and failed a couple of times. We need American made products... :0)
