It was always on my bucket list to get a DNA analysis and learn more about my family history. I researched several companies, but chose My Heritage for the family tree features and their fast turnaround with the results. Plus they had a sale going. :) I spent the first month or two of my membership just working on the family tree, which I found very easy to use. (About the time I was ready to do my DNA test, I got Covid, and was told that it was best to wait.) It took less time than predicted for me to receive my DNA results, even though it was Christmas time. I'm not sure if my ethnicity analysis is totally accurate, as I had filled in most of my family tree up to 6 generations, and over 30% of my ethnicity results have yet to make an appearance in my tree. But the rest reflected what I had found, and I keep discovering new aspects of the site that are fascinating and entertaining, such as the Chromosome Browser and Autoclusters. I've even started mapping my results on DNA Painter. I have learned so much about my family and my background. I feel as this whole DNA analysis process, technology and digitized documents evolve, that this is just the beginning. It's well worth the price. I persuaded my mother to get her DNA analysis done through My Heritage, and am looking forward to comparing her results with mine.

I received this as a birthday gift from my husband. I knew where the kit was every step of the way. I was very impressed and intrigued by the results too.

Ordered a DNA test for my adopted doctor. Would love for her to find some family/ancestors that she is not aware of yet.
