I've been getting Brazilian blowouts every summer for the past 4 years- I have fine, wavy/frizzy hair (I don't color my hair) and while I loved the fact that the BB allowed me to wear my hair down in humidity, I did not love that it completely took away any body or volume. I also didn't love the process (it took a while, the chemicals burned my eyes and nose) and it was expensive. I would pay upwards of $350 per treatment and it would last for about 3-4 months when washing my hair every other day with a sulfate free shampoo. I saw Gussi on tiktok and I figured I'd give it a shot- although it only lasts 6 weeks, the price was so affordable compared to the salon treatment, I had to I give it a shot. And it did exactly what I was hoping! My hair is smooth and I can wear it down without it immediately frizzing up. It did take a way a bit of my volume but not as much as the brazilian blowout. The process itself wasn't terrible, from wash to finish it took about an hour. For my length (about mid chest) I used 3/4ths of the bottle. I'll definitely be repurchasing for sure!
