I began intake of resveratrol in the amount of about 10 mg/kg-day soon after Sinclair published his papers. Initially, I chose BestVite because of best pricing. By now I value it not for the price but quality. Nowadays you can find resveratrol formulations at a better pricing but of unproven quality. Recently, I attempted NutiVein resveratrol on sale at a fraction of BestVite price. However, next I returned all the supply back because the NutiVein formulation, contaminated with Chinese herb extracts, interfered with other medications causing tachycardia and increased hypertension. I am not sure, specifically, which component of Chinese extracts interferes with medications but I noticed a similar effect with multivitamins that are also a mixture of unknown components, with impure melatonin, and other murky nutrimedleys. Therefore, I completely abstain of impure nutrition supplements of unknown quality. The bottom-line: I value BestVite resveratrol for its purity, quality and reasonable pricing. Highly recommended.
