I have been using AlgaeCal and Strontium for about 2 years and my bone scan came back with great results. As I was labeled with Osteoporosis before, it is now osteopenia. Several years ago I was diagnosed with extreme osteoporosis. I was told it was imperative for me to start taking shots into my stomach every day for two years. This medication could give me up to 15 percent increase in my bone density. After investigation of this drug, I declined to take it due to it’s side effects. My doctor continued to push another drug, Prolia. Each year I would get a dexascan. My starting density was -4. I was so afraid of falling that I actually sold my beloved bicycle. I started doing my own research and found AlgaeCal. After one year on AlgaeCal with Strontium Boost, my doctor noted an increase in my bone density but continued to push Prolia I told her I was on AlgaeCal and that it was what I would trust to help me. The next bone scan showed an 8 percent increase. This past year my bone scan showed such great improvement that my doctor has said I don’t need a yearly bone scan.
