I had the worst customer service experience with Carrie G. , Customer Relations Manager at Volo Beauty.
During a visit to Magnolia Silos in Waco, I discovered the Volo Hero Hair Towel and became a loyal customer, purchasing several Volo Beauty products within a short time. However, I noticed that my pink facial towels flattened and became hard, while my other Volo towels remained in great condition. Given that I use a whole-house water softener and take special care of my facial towels, this deterioration was not normal.
I reached out to Volo Beauty with photos and a detailed explanation, requesting a free replacement. Carrie G. refused, citing that the towels were not purchased directly from Volo’s website. Even after I provided proof that they were from an authorized retailer (Magnolia), she still would not offer a replacement.
As a compromise, I suggested a 50% discount on a new set, which she agreed to. However, when I went to place the order, I noticed that a 15% discount had been automatically applied, likely due to a site-wide promotion. Instead of honoring the full 50% as promised, Carrie informed me that she would only reimburse 35% after the purchase, effectively reducing the agreed-upon discount.
