I am just now completing

I am just now completing week 2 and I'm honestly stunned - I've been managing my diagnosed ADHD without medication since I was 6 years old. My mom firmly believed that there was a better way than having me on medication my whole life. I was introduced to mindfulness, exercise, and healthy eating to optimize my internal experiences. And I believe she really set me up for the person I am today because of that. But that doesn't mean I didn't have to work many times as harder or others or missed out on important moments because of overstimulation/depression due to mental fatigue. And while I've gotten to 27 as a successful yoga teacher and working professional, I've never quite felt as successful internally because of how much more obvious effort it took me in comparison to others. I understand that we are all different and have our own journeys but the infinite amount of hacks and work arounds I've adopted to just exist has been exhausting. I've never felt so at-ease. I think the main improvements that I've noticed is how relaxed I feel when I'm focusing on work related tasks for long periods of time, I want to participate, I'm not as overwhelmed or mentally fatigued by the end of my day and I actually have the desire to deeply connect with others. Like I mentioned, I'm only half way through and I still have 2 more formulas to try. But I know I will be continuing next month with out a doubt <3
