Brought out all dark spots on my skin. Should of ordered light / med

I saw this product on the Today Show . Bobbi Thomas said it was easy to use. I like that it goes into the skin quickly and it does not rub off onto my clothes. However I just need to learn to spread it over my skin better so it has a better uniform tan.
