It's not as great as I'd hoped it would be. Its definitely a very basic skincare routine. I really enjoy the mask, the cleanser and the toner but was not a fan of the serum as it is too heavy and sticky. The moisturizer was nothing special for me. So far it has helped with making my face blemish free and smooth but thats about it. I have still broken out while using this product. I like it, but for the price and results ive gotten so far, I probably wont order again.

I like the idea of taking into account all of the different things that affect our skin. I have been using the regimen for three weeks now and my skin is in pretty rough shape. The only thing I like out of it is the mask, but I have other masks I can use. I was hoping it would pan out better because it's a lot less expensive than what I have been using, but oh well.

I received a personalized monthly box completely free from Influenster in exchange for my review. I received the micellar water, essence drops, serum, moisturizer, and dry mask. I liked all the products and thought they smelled great, but the combination of all of them together was just a little too heavy for me skin. I kept having little breakouts and ending up with lots of little whiteheads. I think it was just too much product layered on. The biggest disappointment to me was the dry mask. One of my biggest skin concerns was redness and uneven coloring and the mask was supposed to help that, but I didn't notice any effect. It didn't feel like it did anything for my skin. Overall, I liked the products, but I would not pay for them.

I love the concept behind skinsei. Being able to take a quiz and get a skincare regimen tailored to my skin concerns and geographical location is an awesome idea and takes the guess work out of what I should buy and how I should use it. The program was very simple to use, just sign up, answer some questions and receive the products. However, I’m not sure the program got me exactly right. The only cleanser I received was a miscellar water, which just isn’t enough for the amount of makeup I wear on a daily basis. I need 3 pads of solution just to get to a point where the pad hasn’t completely changed color, though there’s still residue, so I have to follow up with another cleanser anyway. Micellar water also just never leaves me feeling clean enough. The other products were fine, though I’m not sure I’ve noticed a difference from my regular skin care. The dry mask is a little odd and I don’t really like how it attaches around the neck (it’s a bit tight, and I have a fairly small neck) and it doesn’t have a hole for the nose or mouth so it’s difficult to breath. My favorite part is that the products smell good, however that’s not enough to continue to purchase.

Let me first start by saying that 1. I received these products complimentary for testing purposes, and 2. I'm really grateful that I was given the opportunity to test these products however... I could not use a single product that I received. Every product contained niacinamide, which for me gives me very bad breakouts. It's really unfortunate, because in general I liked the concept of this regime. All my products were geared towards my sensitive/combination skin. I enjoyed that there was a comprehensive and in-depth analysis to figure out what exactly I would need based on my lifestyle and living environment. For example, the cleanser I was given was a micellar water; which impressed me because with my sensitive skin I can't typically use traditional cleaners. I really wish that there was an option during the analysis to input any know skin sensitivities. So since I couldn't use the products I received, I'm rating this a 3 out of 5; because I liked the way the site determined what your needed and that you weren't locked into any one regime.
