I've just started using this and I'm happy with it. This info is not on the website, however it's pretty useful, Customer care sent it to me after I asked them how to use it as a first time Retinal user: Introduce Slowly: Start by using the product once a week. Gradually increase the frequency as your skin builds tolerance. There's no need to rush into nightly application. Avoid Consecutive Nights: Do not use the product on consecutive nights. Give your skin a 'recovery day' in between applications to reduce irritation. Night-Only Application: This product should only be applied at night. During the day, make sure to apply a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your skin, as retinal can make it more sensitive to the sun. Avoid Exfoliating Products: This product shouldn't be used on your skin if you are using AHAs, BHAs, physical exfoliants or other retinols or retinals from another brand. Mindful Application: Avoid applying the product too close to your lash line to prevent excessive irritation in this delicate area. Pat the product around the eye orbital bone and to the lid, just below the brow. Keep Skin Moisturised: Ensure your skin stays well-moisturized. Use a gentle, hydrating eye cream or moisturizer after applying retinol to help soothe and protect your skin.
