“YOU’RE CURED!”, she exclaimed!
I’ve had bilateral foot drop for about 18 months and have lived uncomfortably with two styles of AFOs. The first was a Space Age tubular creation that lived outside the shoe and made me stomp around like the Frankenstein monster. The other, fit inside the shoes and looked and felt like a Byzantine torture device.
Then I found the SaeboStep and bought a pair immediately.
To be honest, I was skeptical that a simple, nearly-invisible pulley system could create dorsiflexion.
With a full money back guarantee it was worth a shot.
I strolled (yes, STROLLED) casually into the kitchen - - without surfing the walls with my hands and grabbing furniture and countertops for balance. Or even falling.
My girlfriend looked at me and exclaimed, “YOU’RE CURED!!!”
“Not quite”, I said. “But it’s closer to walking “normally” than I have in a long time.”
I was a bit wobbly, sure, it was my first minutes with the SaeboStep - but I have nowhere to go but up.
I look forward to walking the dogs again and maybe even traveling with my girlfriend and being useful so all of the household chores don’t continue to fall on my her.
Thanks for the chance to walk the walk again, SaeboStep!
