While having worked in several
While having worked in several salons over the years in an administrative role, I was well aware of the many lines of salon products available for my hair type. I have tried very high end expensive lines available only to professionals and very affordable products found at every drug store. I have researched and tried homemade, all natural and organic hair products alike. The end result was finding a great glycerin based wash and condition line, but NOTHING effective or safe for styling that my sensitive scalp could tolerate. That is until I stumbled on and tried Innersense. My research lead me to wanting to use only beauty products that are gentle on me and the environment. While plastic (even recycled) is not my favorite packaging, Innersense otherwise checked the boxes. But knowing how my scalp reacts to everything, even essential oils at times, I was skeptical. But it's been over a month of using my styling creams twice a week and so far absolutely no reaction or break-outs. And icing on the cake is my natural and temperamental curls absolutely love the curl tamer mixed with the texturizing cream. It makes for a lightweight duo that gives freshly washed and conditioned hair a beautiful sheen and hold. It encourages my areas of 'bi-polar' hair to curl even on low humidity days. I actually get compliments on my hair again! The fragrance is barely there which is a blessing. I will be eager to try other Innersense products for my family.
Also note please, that I have used twice the Innersense purple shampoo and conditioner to counteract a little brass after my most recent highlight/lift. It is gently effective and possibly the best and safest purple toning wash product on the market.
Thanks for helping me achieve great hair while protecting my health and looking out for the planet. What goes on our skin and down our drains is a big deal!
