I used to live in Salt Lake City and honestly can't remember how i heard about a local 'newer at the time' Beard product company. Since i had recently started growing my beard, i decided to visit their offices and check out some of the items to get feedback on what my best product would be. To be honest, i've been able to grow a full beard since i was a teenager and was the only kid i knew growing up that graduated with a full beard - in 1999 (kids these days though...) After speaking with Justin he recommended i give the Bay Rum Beard Balm a try and even gave me a few small samples of other items to try out. I tell you what - he crushed the recommendation on the Bay Rum Beard Balm. I instantly fell in love with the balm and subscribed to their monthly subscription plan they used to offer. Over the course of the two additional years i was in SLC (before i relocated due to work and had to shave for my interview), i found that my beard grew even thicker, stronger and faster that it had ever before. I have at least a dozen stories of being stopped at Starbucks by ladies wanting to compliment my beard and show their husbands, older gentlemen at urinals next to me deciding it was worth breaking the silence to compliment my beard etc. etc. Since relocating to SC for my new position i have grown my beard back and have tried so many other options for beard products. I read online reviews, video blogs, amazon reviews and all i could to find a new product i could find locally to get my beard back to the way i loved it. I can't believe it actually took me that long to even think about just ordering from Highwest Beard again. I finally came to my senses and ordered three tims of the Bay Rum Beard Balm and feel like myself again. No more random flaky dry spots on my chin under all the hair, No more hair that seems to blow in the wind or get messy when i put over-ear headphones on at work and no more being afraid to run my own fingers through my beard (other people do it often). I'm back baby!!! Bay Rum Beard Balm has proven to be my long-lost first love that i just couldn't get out of my mind and now that i have some legit white hairs coming in - i feel like a baller.
