I have a tendinitis in my shoulder so at night ( early morning ) it hurts from no mobility and I cannot roll over on that shoulder. Taking painmeds at 3 AM is not an option and this is actually a thick ointment that rubs in quick and brings fast relief so I can sleep till 6 AM ... I love it and it smells nice too... but pain relief was my main motivator and I highly rate this product
