I have very short and
I have very short and thin eyelashes, so I'm always wearing fake lashes. I saw this ad on IG and immediately started doing research. I saw nothing but great reviews through Youtube and beauty articles. I was sold because who likes dealing with eyelash glue? No one. I got the product (appreciated that they have vegan options) and went to put them on. The lashes have an additional layer of lash on the ends of the lashes themselves, basically two magnets that have lashes on them on either side of the ends. Initially I took them off because with my eye shape (hooded), you could tell there was a space between my lash line (eyeliner) and the lashes themselves. When I took them off, it looked a lot better but because of the way the magnets were, it rubbed off the eyeliner and started coming off after 3 hours. After putting the "extra" layer of lashes back on the ends, they stuck all day, but again, I could tell there was a space between the eyeliner, my own lashes and the glamnetics. This is probably just because of the shape of eyes. I also like my lashes to be super fanned out because it opens up my eyes. With the lash glue, I'm able to create that effect, but with these, they lay flat on the eyeliner and it's near impossible to create that "fan" look.
I'm sure after more experimenting, it'll get better, but I am a little disappointed. Especially after spending a good amount of money for these. Also, a few of them are a little too dramatic for my taste. I'm definitely a "natural" looking lash gal. Overall, it's a great idea but the shape of my eyes and the way I like my lashes to look, it's not for me. I'll keep trying and update.
