I was always cautious of DIY gel nails as I was worried it would a) be too hard to do and b) risk ruining my nails. I have enjoyed this experience and the remover is absolute winner - yes at first it took me a while to get a hang of the nail prep (the tools are sharp - go easy) and how best to paint my nails but a few weeks in I’m always proud of my result and saving money. The basic starter kit has everything you need! (Minus the builder gel ;) - buy that if you don’t have strong nails )
