I was worried at first as I normally like to buy just plain. I was so pleasantly surprised this mat is like soft suede under my feet. Like a warm hug and its just magical to look at it. Not slippery for me at all and I don't do over hot yoga, its lock down for me so I'm just engaging in easy flow at home and this mat has been so perfect. I just adore it and feel so much stronger using it!!
