Wanted to love it, but…
This is my honest review/opinion after using Sol Brush on our beach vacation and then again at our lake house. We live in Wisconsin, so heading to the Gulf Shores for vacation, I knew the sun would hit different being around the white sand and beach and while I expected some light sunburn, I suppose, my son and I who both used Sol Brush, burned pretty badly. I am diligent about sunscreen and reapplying, so I know that wasn’t really the issue. I just kind of chalked it up to the Alabama sun and Wisconsin skin. And, my husband used a different brand of sunscreen and burned as well. His was a traditional spray on one. I continued to use only Sol Brush for myself and another clean lotion for my son. We both still burned, so again, I did want to say it was just the Alabama sun and the sand and the ocean. However, we are back home and just visited our lake house for the day. We were out in the sun around 3-4 hours. In that timeframe, reapplication was done 3 times and both my son and I burned again. As much as I love the idea of this sunscreen and the ease of application, I do not believe it works well around water and it is hard to know that you’ve actually covered all the areas of your body since it’s basically invisible.
