I would like to provide my ho eat review of this wonderful silicone tape, which is unlike many on the market and is a lifesaver!! Last year I was set upon by a gang of monkeys whilst traveling throughout India. One of them unfortunately scratched my calf and it got very infected…I was petrified of getting sick and was hoping I wouldn’t develop a keloid or hypertrophic scar as I always do. The location of injury was very prominent, on the back of my leg. Fortunately, I have had a whole roll of BodySil tape which is a staple in my first aid kit, and has been since 2017. Even though this tape was over 3 years old, it is still sticky and works like a magic eraser on any skin injuries. I have been using BodySil tape on the scratch since August 2020 and today I have only slight hyperpigmentation which is slowly fading with this silicone tape. It sticks really well, I keep it on for up to a week, covered with micropore tape. It stays on during showers and daily exercise, zero irritation and super gentle. I have not seen this tape sold in pharmacies here in Australia or overseas, and believe it is commonly used at the hospitals. So far I haven’t experienced any cons, it is not bulky and hygienic, every week I simply dispense a new fresh and sticky piece of BodySil tape and don’t have to worry about washing it like regular silicone tapes sold in Pharmacies. My keloid scars are the worst! I had one that thick it needed to be cut out! I have applied the silicone tape from you guys and worn it now for several months. It's stopped it from raising and getting red and angry. I change it every 5 days. Stays on perfectly even after showering. I have purchased 2 boxes so far and will no doubt buy a third!
