Pretty scents

I purchased the sample set of the 7 fragrances. My two daughters and myself had fun trying them over a week to see which fragrances we preferred. We all chose a different scent so I purchased 4 of the travel size perfumes to satisfy all! My only suggestion is that Bastide provide some small samples when you order.....I often find those to be future purchases!

Obsessed on the one had and disappointed on the other

I am quite obsessed with the Figue d'Ete hand soap, bar soap and body cream. Obsessed. I have purchased it as a gift for several friends. A splurge to be sure, but a rare and lovely treat. My daughter tried to buy it for me for Christmas and discovered it was out of stock. Likely others equally as obsessed. Instead she gave me the combo set of the Ambre Soir. Certainly an expensive gift from her, but one she was so pleased to give me. I tried it once and could not tolerate the lingering overly flowery fragrance. When I contacted Bastide to request an exchange I was told that none could be processed due to the pandemic. I want so much to be understanding of the current circumstances, but have not yet experienced a complete refusal to accommodate even from purveyors of perishable foods. At such a high price point, an accommodation of some sort should be within reasonable consideration. I am super disappointed and have therefore determined that I can live without the luxury of Bastide. 5 stars would have applied, but 3 will have to do for rigidity.

Got the wrong item

Even though my order confirmation shows a picture of what I ordered, it’s not what I received. I will be contacting Bastide tomorrow to get an exchange/refund.

Yikes

I totally understand that covid has created logistical nightmares, as I am also in retail and dealing with shipping delays and losses....and I realize this is probably a carrier issue, but my package (a gift) shipped from New Jersey to Maryland on the 29th of May...nearly a week ago... and it still has t been delivered. I could have walked there faster. No communication. Wrong tracking was provided. Still no idea where this is or when it will arrive, the current tracking says Thursday June 4...it’s the 6th. Anyway...frustrated.
