I purchased two grounding mats—one for my husband (67) and one for myself (60). At first, my husband claimed it didn't work. But interestingly, his swollen ankles improved after just one night of using it. Despite saying it doesn’t help, he now carries the mat from the bed to his desk every day to use while working on his PC.
Spoiler alert: it does work!
My experience was a bit different. For the first four days, I had trouble falling asleep. I think my body needed to adjust, especially since we live in a high-electrical-smog environment (our bedroom is directly above a full server room with multiple PCs). During the adjustment period, I experienced numb feet and arms, dizziness, and general restlessness. By the third night, I was so exhausted that I had to take a sleeping pill. But by the fourth day, all of that went away.
Now, I sleep with the grounding mat every night. My sleep is deeper and calmer, I wake up more rested, my mind feels clearer, and I can definitely focus better during the day. I’m so glad I found the Aarding Grounding Mat—and even more excited to recommend it!
