Intriguing
I picked up 2 copies of RidgeCrest’s incredibly informative calendar periodical in 2024 and forwarded one to a like minded hippie gardening friend who lives in Michigan. I live in western NY and come from a family whose father grew all kinds of amazing vegetables, fruits, trees and flowers. My mother cooked, baked everything imaginable and canned our excess veg. Who can say that their dad had THREE asparagus beds? Dad & Mom were children of the Depression, but taught us kids - all who love/loved gardening- the importance of being one with the Earth. Legacy continues with my daughter, her husband, and my 7 yr old grandson, who love growing organic vegetables and flowers.
I am a strong believer in homeopathic remedies, alternative therapies and recycling. We are a family obsessed with reading, and can’t get enough of books - library books, e-books, used books, ALL books - esp 🥰banned books!
RidgeCrest provides me, gratefulgrandmaq, with informative and inspiring info.
(Yes I am a tie dye wearing deadhead!)
Thank you for inspiring and educating! Keep up the good work!☮️🕊️😻
