I initially wore the SHK-1 vented hard hat but switched to the full brim version. I found the full brim hard hat to be more comfortable and aesthetically similar to my previous full brim hard hat. The field personnel were unaware that it was a new style hard hat. I purchased six of them for a small crew that is mandated to wear hard hats on-site, and they expressed satisfaction with the product.
