I purchased this for my attic access opening. I did not need fire rating but I did need a sealed hatch to prevent my roof power vent from sucking air out of the 2nd floor. I added weather stripping to the door to make it extra tight. The door is very solid and well built. The instructions did not show how to attach the spring to the door but calling the seller cleared it up.

The product was in perfect condition, as advertised, shipped very quickly. My only complaint is the shipping charge was more that the product cost, why is that??
