My External Power Sensor ALS with LiPo battery works great monitoring the temperature inside my freezer. I bought the sensor hoping to improve battery life and stability in the cold. The LiPo's voltage has remained constant without recharging for nearly three months now. I also have several Tag Pro's. They work very well at temperatures above freezing, but their CR2032 batteries don't last long at temperatures near 0 F. The LiPo-based sensor solves that problem.

I use these tags In Australia to monitor freezer & fridge temperatures. This can then be presented to health authorities to demonstrate that our produce has been kept at the correct temperatures.
