Simplified Building

Materials arrived. My wife was diagnosed with cancer. The railings are on hold until after surgery and at least partial recovery.

I purchased a Surface 29 for my front steps. Everything went well, except I had overlooked the stated range of handrail slope (between 30 and 60 degrees). I just had to shorten the lower post a bit and it all went together. It's very solid. I've ordered another one for my back steps as well.

Kee Klamps were the perfect solution to construct a handrail for my deck. One 10' length of 1-1/4" sch 40 gal pipe cut into thirds and u bolted to the stair stringers as uprights.
