My experience is awful. The worst nightmare. On September 10 I emailed RiteScreen my exact door measurements, 29.5 by 77 inches, and asked them to check that my dropdown selections matched those measurements before building the door. The dropdown menu made it easy to pick the wrong option, and I wanted them to catch exactly that.
They never flagged anything. The order confirmation showed 26 1/6 inches, about three inches narrower than the measurements I had sent and asked them to verify. The door they shipped measures about 26.5 inches wide. It does not fit my opening.
When I wrote to support, Jodi told me the only option was their $150 remake program, because I had a 24-hour window to correct the order. I tried to meet them halfway twice. First I offered to split the difference at $75 for a remake. Then, to make it cheaper for everyone, I offered $50 for just the two short rails remade at 29.5 inches instead of 26.5, since I can keep the long rails that fit. Dana Lunak, their Customer Support Manager, rejected both offers and said the factory does not do custom parts and the order was a fulfilled contract.
On October 6 I sent a final email giving them until October 8 to remake the door at the correct size at no charge, and said I would otherwise dispute the charge with my bank and post honest reviews. They did not reply.
Desired resolution: remake the door at 29.5 by 77 inches at no charge, or refund my payment in full. The size mismatch was in my email before they built anything, and I asked them to verify it. That request was ignored.
