The shutters are constructed well and they look great. The only issue is with installation. The shutters come with plastic brackets that are first screwed into the exterior wall. Then, when the shutters are in place, the screws go through the brackets to the top and bottom of the shutter. But our house has cedar lap siding and because of the overlaps, there isn’t enough space to screw into the top and bottom of the shutters. We needed to drill holes through the shutters directly into the siding. This was easy to do, of course. But, since we got black shutters it would have been helpful to have some long black screws available. We were, however, provided with black touch up paint!

The "sample kit" was a huge disappointment!

The kit was great! But the shipping time was slow.

Product seems low quality. Customer service has been just okay.
