I wanted a lesser hood to keep at work and this Viking 1740 was the perfect choice for me. I prefer the smaller viewing area of the 1740,and the 4C lens is amazing. I love the quality and clarity. My only complaint is that the helmet box was missing the sticker sheet, but I was able to contact Lincoln and they are sending one my way. Quality product as expected from Lincoln Electric! I am pleased with my purchase.
