Very happy with the final outcome! The kit was extremely well made. The cutters worked very well, leaving a clean enough cut to get the crimp sleeves on with their snug fit. And the crimp tool was easily done manually. Definitely no need for a powered unit. We cross-threaded one or two of the set screws before getting the hang of it, but the threads were high quality. Cutting the cable to the right length was made easier by using a rubber covered wood clamp to mark the distance rather than trying to squeeze it with your fingers which inevitably move. Also the clamp provided a way to easily hold the cable while using the cutters.
