Order was shipped a week early- emailed to ask what happened and haven’t heard back. Glad someone was home to receive.

I ordered Hokkaido uni and

I ordered Hokkaido uni and chose a specific delivery date (Jan 9) since I will be using it for a dinner event. I received an email a few days after ordering (Jan 6) saying that due to weather issues in Southern California, they will have to postpone till the following week (this week). I told them that I understood and asked if it's just possible to cancel the order since it will be after the dinner event. I didn't get a response. I sent a follow-up email two days later - still no response. I left a message on the phone - no call back. I understand if it's not possible to cancel (which I already assume given the complete lack of response), but I really would appreciate if they would let me know. Since their last email (7 days ago), I still have not received any confirmation of when they plan to ship or when I'm receiving the order this week. When I check order tracking, it just says "getting ready to ship". Interestingly, when I tried ordering the same product the day (Jan 7) after I received their email, the delivery date of Jan 9 was still available so I'm a bit confused as to why they would still have that delivery date available for the same product when they told be they can't deliver by that date. I'm a repeat customer too (ordered caviar and uni from them a couple of weeks ago and there were no issues) so I'm not sure why I'm being "ghosted" this time. (order # 10574).
