Protects the knife very securely

This chef knife is the absolute best chef knife I have ever owned. I love the comfort and ease of using the knife. I have many chef knives, but I reach for the Kitchen-tini every time and don't feel intimidated by the sharpness of the blade nor do I worry about control.

My only problem was the shipping by FedEx: 2 of the 4 bowls survived & the package itself was poorly constructed, in that it allowed too much room for the bowls & a large heavy object during shipping fell on the end of the 2 broken bowls--EVEN with a large 2-3" tape explaining: FRAGILE in red letters & stretching across the whole box (@ 24" long). The store was kind enough to refund the cost of shipping & the 2 broken bowls, but hope to replace the other 2 bowls when they're restocked. Patrick Sumner
