I was able to choose a time frame for delivery. You'll also receive word when it's been shipped, so you'll know exactly what day it eill be on your doorstep. This was especially important with having purchased in the summer. It is packed very well in a thickly insulated box with dry ice, so even in an hour or more there would have been no thawing.
