best long run days

2 to 3 hours before: 2 scoops UCAN energy powder in 16 oz water. 1/2 hour before: 1 edge pack. Then 35 minutes into the 90 min run— another edge pack. Water as usual. After run: UCAN hydrate + aminos. Then easy 1/2 hour lap swim session. Then sauna 25 minutes. Then UCAN energy + plant protein so i can recover as i do my grocery shopping before finally returning home to do brunch. And do use their mix bottle! Works great!

UCAN has become such a

UCAN has become such a ‘go-to’ for me, now has a long distance runner and avid cyclist. Service is always great, always on time. It’s important to use these products soon after you get them though because they really do mean their expiration dates. Older bars are still edible but little harder, gel packs, the starch settles to the bottom, but you can still mix them up with a little work. But the energy is still there! Love these products. Hope you will, too.
