When someone asked what I drank I used to reply "scotch". Now, when someone asks what I drink, I ask "What whiskies do you have". Since joining the whisky club in 2018 I have had a mind-blowing experience every single month and have discovered so much about what I like and what I was missing in the world of whisky. For years I thought what I had in my liquor cupboard was fine because it said scotch on the bottle, now I know a word means nothing if it can't turn on your taste buds and crank them to max.
