The tea selection is fantastic,
The tea selection is fantastic, and you do pay for the quality. I recently switched to the Tea Makers of London and noticed a significant price increase. However, the tea is clearly much better than my previous distributor. For a loose leaf tea enthusiast like me who’s tried everything, you know when you’ve found great quality. You pay for what you get.
I’m unlikely to return to my old distributor to save a few pounds. This tea tastes so much more refined and high-quality. If you’re looking to save a bit, you can find cheaper tea elsewhere, but you’ll likely get a lower quality. This is just my personal experience.
The customer service is basic. I contacted them about dust in my tea and got a response, but I didn’t hear back. Maybe it’s because they get a lot of calls or they weren’t very concerned. I’d probably get a response if I contacted them again. This was just my first experience, so it’s not something I’d mark them down for.
The packaging is sleek and I like the textured bag they use. I’m sure it’s recycled plastic too. It would be great if they offered paper bags at the checkout, like some suppliers do. The problem is people keep the tea in the paper bags, which makes it lose freshness. The plastic bag locks in all the freshness, so you can’t go wrong.
Overall, my experience has been good so far!
