This teapot is a beautiful design and works great for the method I use to brew black tea where I live at high altitude. Since water boils at a lower temp here, never reaching 212 degrees F, I must keep the water as hot as possible during the black tea brew time. Using this Kyoto, I can keep the water boiling on the stove for the entire brew time of the tea. The tea stays hotter and tastes better, just like at regular altitude. I use the Kyoto on an electric burner with a heat diffuser. I love this teapot/tea kettle.

I ordered a glass tea filter. It arrived in perfect condition. It fit perfectly On my tea pot. Now I enjoy my teas. Thank you teabloom.
