The 50-oyster bag of Pemaquid was my first order with Island Creek Oysters. The order arrived exactly as advertised perfectly packed with frozen gel packs in a very well insulated box. The gel pads were still frozen after travelling to Florida in 100F degree heat. The oysters were all alive, deep cup, very full, very tasty and tasting like the cold ocean off the coast of Maine. Easy to shuck, even easier to eat and possibly the finest oysters I’ve eaten since arriving in the US from France in 1985. I will definitely order from Island Creek again and recommend them without reservation. Well deserved 5 stars!
