Food good, but did not arrive in time

The food was delivered in a well insulated box, and I had zero concerns about food safety. The lava cake was spectacular, but the meatballs and filet were lacking. The heating instructions for the steak lead to a very dried out and tough piece of meat that is usually very tender if prepared correctly. The side dishes included in this were very goo, though. The meatballs were also slightly overdone at the time/temperature recommended, leading to a dry and chewy meatball.

We had a company event catered to our homes through this service. The flavor of the food was not bad. We followed the oven cooking directions and the entrée turned out way over cooked and the steak was too well done and tough and chewy. The dessert was the opposite, not cooked through and lukewarm and required further microwaving following the attempt to oven cook. The lemon bars we also ordered did not survive the shipping process and were mostly a container of broken pieces and crumbs when we opened it. The meatball appetizer by far turned out the best and I highly recommend that choice. Recognizing the directions had to be generic to accommodate the variety of cooking appliances at the receiving end of their products, it requires a lot of monitoring to get best results. Because it was done through the company, I am not sure what the prices were for everything including the shipping. It could serve as a stand in meal in a pinch, but it is not a replacement for a dine-out meal.

Overall quality was good, however you sent me a slice of cauliflower instead of ordered steak. I ate the shrimps and chocolate lava cake. Thank you, Alex

The food was good and it was fun to receive the dinner package for an event. However, the packaging is insane and I shudder to think of the CO2 cost for shipping a meal across the country. Please consider a CO2 offset at at minimum.
