This is not the first
This is not the first time with Nature's Flavors. We purchased this item that was listed as available on the website, paid for it, and got a confirmation. This was purchased for business as an ingredient for production. After a long wait, we finally inquired and was told it would take 7-10 days from the order date due to the holidays. 10 days pass. Delay production. Inquire. "We have a backlog. It's in process. " More days pass. Delay production. Inquire. "We have a backlog. It's almost ready. " More days pass. Delay productions. Inquire. "We make everything custom. We have a backlog. It's in process. "
(This is not a custom product, obviously. This is something that is ordered in bulk and simply repacked in the branded bottle. )
Finally, after nearly a month this one ingredient that cause multiple production delays and missed deadlines finally arrived.
Never any actual reason that it didn't ship out on time. Never any indication on the website or during the order process that the item wasn't even in stock or available for sale.
If you guys are going to create your own backlogs by shutting down for the holidays, fine. But tell people who are paying you money for your products and services if Items are in stock or not (on items that are simple re-packs like this), and if they aren't offer INFORMATION and EXPLANATIONS as to WHY. Or offer alternatives. Or offer concessions. Or provide realistic ETAs. Or come up with a system that doesn't create month-long delays at each holiday.
Frustrating as all heck for one silly item.
