Do fan filets taste EXACTLY like filet mignon? No. In my opinion, they taste BETTER. There's a subtle nutty flavor that I really enjoy. These fan filets are the perfect portion for my parter and I.

So tender and flavorful. One of my favorite cuts so far! I'm supposed to avoid eating beef due to my BRCA2+ status & I'm so glad I discovered American Ostrich Farms. It satisfies my steak cravings, and the fact that it's so lean is definitely a bonus!
