Theres a new Clan in town
I have always been a Scotch Whisky drinker, dabbling between Single Malts & Blends, Regions, Smoke to Sherry etc. I keep a few go to tipples to hand as well as a couple of unique ones for special occasions.
Being only 5ft7, I always though a tasty swede would have been out of reach, then I discovered Mackmyra by chance, and figured what the heck this was my chance. It was so worth taking the leap. It now has a firm place in my go to tipples. I also hope that the Gront Te becomes a stable mate of their core range.
I look forward to trying the Gruvguld when payday comes around.
The whisky themselves are all very smooth and burst with flavours rather than spirit. The "EK" expressions are woody yet not unpleasant like some scotch. I do prefer expressions finished in sherry casks, but did enjoy both of these woody offerings. I could go and on. But will let you decide for yourselves. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.
